Greg Choate is a Certified Legal Specialist in Workers’ Compensation who has successfully fought MPN lien issues and obtained trial results of Take Nothing against lien claimants. His 10 years of experience and knowledge of medical, legal and factual defenses help settle liens quickly.
Camille Hom has been an attorney since 2001 and focuses on resolving liens to close files. Her goal is to resolve all liens and issues prior to Lien Conferences to take the hearings off calendar. The constant focus on liens has been successful in saving our clients additional costs to make appearances at the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB).
Sabrina Vernon has an extensive background in all areas of lien negotiations from both sides of the argument. Prior to working at the Law Office of Greg Choate, she worked for a third party administrator as a Claims Examiner specializing in lien negotiations to close files. She has successfully settled liens for pennies on the dollar while using her knowledge of the Labor Code, California Rules and Regulations, Case Law and Official Medical Fee Schedule coupled with Reasonable Value of Service. In addition, her lien experience includes working directly for a doctor’s office as a Hearing Representative to file and collect liens. She has also worked as a Lien Representative at the WCAB to argue before Workers’ Compensation Judges and to represent the liens of pharmacies, medical facilities, doctors, physical therapists, acupuncturists, medical equipment companies and surgical centers. Sabrina’s experience of billing, CPT codes and OMFS on all sides of lien negotiations gives her special skills compared to other workers’ compensation lien specialists.
